En cumplimiento de la ley electoral, el Instituto Nacional Electoral iniciará el próximo martes 1° de septiembre de 2020 la Campaña Anual Intensa de Actualización al Padrón Electoral, de cara al Proceso Electoral Federal 2020-2021. Es por ello que el Órgano de Vigilancia Local del Registro Federal de Electores en el estado de Morelos, en su sesión extraordinaria celebrada ayer de manera virtual, y en el marco de sus atribuciones, aprobó cambios y ajustes en configuraciones de operación, así como habilitación de dobles turnos en algunos de los Módulos de Atención Ciudadana en la entidad, tomando como referencia la Estrategia de Operación de Módulos aprobada por la Comisión Nacional de Vigilancia, las recomendaciones de los órganos distritales de vigilancia, el reforzamiento de plantilla previsto y el análisis del contexto.
Los módulos que tuvieron modificaciones son los ubicados en los municipios de Emiliano Zapata, Jiutepec, Jojutla y Temixco. En el caso de Jiutepec y Temixco se habilitaron dobles turnos, y en los de Zapata y Jojutla se incrementaron estaciones de trabajo. Con estos movimientos, se atiende la demanda ciudadana de abrir más espacios para agendar citas, debido a la saturación existente.

Es importante señalar que se mantiene el esquema de operación de agendar cita para solicitar la credencial o recogerla, así como el cumplimiento del protocolo de sanidad: portar el cubrebocas en todo momento, permitir la toma de temperatura y la aplicación de gel antibacterial al ingresar al módulo, acudir sin compañía a menos que la persona requiera de asistencia, y llegar puntual a la hora de su cita porque no hay salas de espera para mantener la sana distancia.
